Glass Front Niche:
Glass niches or “memory boxes” are offered in a variety of sizes and shapes and allow families the greatest degree of personalization for a cremation burial. The flexibility families are afforded in customizing this final resting place has resulted in it becoming one of the most popular cremation burial options.

There are several types of outdoor cremation options.
Private Gardens and Family Estates:
These exclusive areas represent the finest tributes Green Hills can offer your family and were designed for individuals wanting to keep all their loved ones together in one spectacular setting. These unique offerings allow you to customize your own private cemetery within our memorial park by incorporating beautiful stone walls, lush landscaping, personalized memorials and benches. These select areas are located in the most desirable regions of our park with scenic views of the Pacific Ocean, San Gabriel Mountains and the Palos Verdes hills.
Granite Front Niche:
These beautiful, above ground burial options are constructed of stunning granite or marble and are offered for single, companion or family selections. Immersed in nature, these niches have remained a popular option with our visiting families due to their proximity to streams, waterfalls and scenic vantage points within the park.
Ground burial:
Many of our traditional families prefer this familiar means of cremation burial. Ground burial offers the ability to bury one or two family members in a number of diverse areas throughout our park.

Our mother passed away unexpectedly, and no one really tells you how to deal with that kind of stuff. I knew my family... had used Green Hills before for other members, grandparents, an aunt and uncle, so I thought why not them? I was so happy that I went with Green Hills, not only did they genuinely express condolences on what had happened, but carefully walked us through what needed to be done and options we had. The staff were very kind and knowledgeable. We had mentioned that our mom loved Christmas and during the service we were surprised to see some Christmas decorations put up around the suites. Needless to say we loved it and so did visiting family. Once services commenced, they help with everything and even checked up on us a week after to see if we were doing OK. We really appreciated that. Thank you to all the Green Hills staff for helping us with everything and handling things with care and patience. An extra special thank you to Cole, Kristen, Bryan, and Roxy for everything. The grounds, staff, and attention to detail and care are exceptional and I would highly recommend this memorial park to look after your loved ones and yourself as well.read more

Our family can’t say enough good things about the professionalism, compassion, and competence of Green Hills. On June... 12th we experienced a horrible tragedy in our family. We lost my 32 yr old brother suddenly. In our devastation, we didn’t know what to do, but Green Hills was able to walk us through every step of the process and bring us some comfort and peace in knowing arrangements were being handled and our loved one was being cared for. In such a moment of grief, having those details handled was priceless. From start to finish we appreciate the diligence and care Green Hills carried into every meeting and detail. The service coordinators were great, the office staff were always available and accommodating, and even when we needed more time at the viewing, they graciously accommodated us. I truly believe our experience with Green Hills allowed us the space to grieve…the process of loss is hard and the business behind it can feel cruel. It really matters who you have in your corner as you process all the details and I can’t recommend Green Hills enough.read more

My mother had chosen a plot at Green Hills for my father and her to be buried in over thirty years ago. When she passed... away last month on her 89th birthday in my home, it was a bit of a surprise. Who do you call? What mortuary do you choose? I knew that she wanted to be at Green Hills so I was very relieved to hear they would pick my mother’s body up where we live near Lake Arrowhead, late at night, and transport her carefully to Green Hills. The next day Green Hills worked with us to get all the arrangements made. No high pressure sales tactics like I had at another mortuary when I was a young widow. Everyone was kind, respectful, and thoughtful. The environment of the building my mother was prepared for burial was beautiful. We were given a private, beautiful room to sit and be together with my mother and close family before the graveside service. The graveside service went smoothly thanks to the coordinating they provided, which included everything we needed to have the service my mother wanted. They thought of things we didn’t think of. I would recommend Green Hills to anyone. Serving our family with dignity and kindness for over 30 years.read more

My family and I could not be happier with the way our father’s funeral came out. We were fortunate that my father had... preplanned everything in advance several years ago which made the whole process go smoothly. When my family arrived to go over the funeral arrangements, we were greeted by both senior arrangement director Paul Clarke and family service advisor Ashley Hecht. They went over my father’s funeral agreement in detail and also helped with additional services we later added to the service. As my father had once been in the military, Paul made arrangements for the military to come on the day of the funeral and play taps which we appreciated. We were also very happy with embalmer Brittany Mucha who help prepare my father for viewing services and did a wonderful job! We also used the green hills florist and the flower arrangement they made was beautiful and reasonably priced. The room green hills mortuary provided was very nice and Mike the service manager helped with setting up the video we provided with photos of my father throughout his life. I would lastly like to thank service director Jose Carrillo, he made everything run smoothly the day of the funeral and we could not be happier with the way everything turned out. Absolutely everyone I have dealt with at Green Hills has been so wonderful, kind, patient, and professional. The sudden passing of my dad this past Nov. 2021 was a real shock,beyond overwhelming& still is so hard to accept... everyday. We are very grateful for the beautiful services green hills provided us. A big stressor was the time frame we had for services. It had to work out for all our schedules we were stressing out because my brother&husband are in the military& getting time off from over seas while on deployment can be difficult on top of our heartbreaking loss. I would like to begin by thanking the entire Green Hills Memorial Park and Mortuary staff, particularly Courtney and... Yoseline.The loss of my loved one was sudden and unplanned. With that being said, I was left scrambling and in a rush to make sure I took care of every detail. I was relieved when I met with Courtney for the first time, her demeanor was calm, composed, and empathetic. She was able to guide me through the entire process and explained what to expect thoroughly. I was clear on every detail from the moment when Green Hills would pick my loved one up from her place of passing, eventually placing her at her final resting place, and everything in between.Yoseline, from the Green Hills Mortuary, was compassionate and easy going allowing me to set the pace and offering her support when I seemed confused. Yoseline’s flexibility with changing arrangements as well as adding final touches to really make the services tailored to exactly what my loved one would have wanted was what set Green Hills a level above to me. Not to mention, exceeding expectations by purchasing an item on her own accord to add a beautiful final touch to our chapel services.Although driving into Green Hills is never easy now. I am able to smile when I drive in and grab that bag of duck food for my daughter, complimentary from the park. My daughter believes it is a duck park and her grandmother just happens to be resting there(not to mention Courtney made it a point to find a plot near the pond because she saw how interested my daughter is with that location). It does not at all feel like a traditional cemetery and I believe that should be attributed to the wonderful staff.Very seldom do I take the time to post reviews but this experience I hold near and dear to my heart.Thank you again for your care, patience and flawless execution Green Hills.read more

Green hills is not only a beautiful cemetery with a lovely chapel it is also very well-maintained with an exceptionally... professional staff.From the moment I entered the facility to prepare a service for my mother, I found the staff (David) extremely considerate, kind and caring, Paul on the internment side was great too! The media group was extremely helpful as well preparing not only the beautiful program but also a video choreographed to the music of my choice to be shown at her service.The attendant during the service (another Paul) assisted in set up and break down of the chapel service as well as accompanied us to graveside assuring all would go smoothly.The follow up afterwards in securing the correct verbiage on the name plates and getting them ordered has been excellent.I would recommend this facility to anyone who wants a classy, beautiful, well done service honoring their loved one.read more

And it was sort of the best experience?I can’t say it’s the best thing ever because of course, this is a silly conversation.But my family and i were quite pleased with the mannerisms and professionalism of the staff. I’ve been too many other cemetery’s and none were as coordinated as this one. I like how everything was made easy for us during the time that was most hardest of course. Staff is great and the very professional.As for the facility, the actual cemetery is nice and clean. It’s a peaceful place to rest. Good place of meditation and evaluation of your life.read more

Greenhills has everything, including a crematorium. They offer packages which makes funeral preparations easier and... more affordable. Most importantly, the staff are very professional yet compassionate and understanding, from David to Sandi to the staff at the main entrance.
